Born in London, Chris was apprenticed at the piano at eight and on the decks by eighteen, performing alongside Pete Tong and Paul Oakenfold at the Royal Albert Hall and serving By Royal Appointment. Before he became one of the Coachella Valley's most trusted wedding and event DJs, Chris Paul built his name in London — first behind the decks, then in the studio. As a club DJ he held residencies at the Hippodrome and Equinox in the heart of the capital's dance scene, playing alongside the era's defining names and building a reputation for reading a room and moving a floor.
His recording career began in 1986 with the release of "Expansions '86," recorded with the voice of David Joseph and released on 4th & Broadway, the dance imprint of Island Records. He went on to record with EMI/Syncopate, Virgin Records and London Records, including work as part of the Isotonik project, and contributed remixes for other artists — among them Mary J. Blige's "Real Love." Decades later, those productions remain part of the canon of UK dance music.
That studio background shapes the way Chris works behind the decks today. For more than thirty years he has performed at clubs, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations in London, Europe and the United States — a career that has demanded versatility across genres, precision with sound, and a calm, professional presence in front of any crowd, from intimate gatherings to packed ballrooms.
Today Chris brings that experience to full-service wedding DJ, corporate event DJ and MC services throughout Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio and the wider Coachella Valley — including professional sound systems, event lighting and audiovisual (AV) production. The result is an event scored by someone who has spent a lifetime in music, both on the dance floor and in the studio.
